Germany
Germany - or Deutschland as it is known to the Germans - is one of the great powers in the world and is known for its contributions in nearly every conceivable field, particularly in science, engineering and innovations, exemplified by the fact that over 100 Germans have been awarded the Nobel prize in their field, including Albert Einstein, who was born in Germany.
Germany has also been home to famous composers such as Johann Bach, Ludwig van Beethoven and Richard Wagner. Germany is also well-known for it’s folk festival traditions, such as Oktoberfest and their various Christmas customs.
